Louisa Shadeya Dewar (CEO &Managing Director)Louisa Dewar is the sole founder and Managing Director of two innovative companies, Dewar Studios and London City PR. With more than 12 years of extensive experience in hi-fashion, media and Public Relations, Louisa is without any doubt a seasoned expert within the industry. After obtaining a variety of business qualifications and a degree from the London College of Fashion, Louisa went on to launch beauty and fashion products with some of the biggest department stores in London, including Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols. The cosmetic brands that Louisa has championed are equally blue chip: Calvin Klein, Jean Paul Gautier and Lancôme, to name but a few.
Louisa has worked with some of the biggest names within the realm of hi-fashion photography, including film director and comedian, Stephen Fry, football legend, Paul Gascoigne, boxing champion, Amir Khan, as well as Prince Hassan of Jordan and fashion icon, Princess Shahnaz Husain
Over the years she has acquired a distinguished reputation for creative excellence within political and diplomatic circles, having worked with parliamentary veterans such as Tony Benn, John Bercow and Mohammed Sarwar, the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and senior figures within the High Commissions of India and Pakistan. She has also worked with NGOs and work in this regard includes Third World Solidarity and the Starlight Children Foundation. Louisa Dewar has also collaborated with media organisations like ITV, OK! Magazine, the Evening Standard, London Metro, Zee TV, the Kensington and Chelsea Chronicle
Louisa now channels all of her experience, energy and passion into her own bespoke enterprises, which she launched single-handedly. With her first-class expertise in hi-fashion photography, event solutions, PR and media relations, she is the engine that drives the success of the enterprise.

Pieter Bruwer (Director)

Pieter Bruwer is currently Director for London City PR and owner of PBPR, a boutique public relations agency based in Cape Town. He has over 19 years experience in the media industry in both the United Kingdom and South Africa. He started his career as Sales Executive for Red Book Publishing in London and progressed to becoming General Manager for a group of business publications owned by Naspers, Africa’s biggest media group.
Pieter spent part of his career as a General News Reporter for a daily newspaper and later Business Journalist, before becoming Editor for Special Projects at Media24’s nationwide daily business newspapers. He then made the leap from writing about people doing business to applying the knowledge himself by accepted the appointment as Advertising Manager for Beeld newspaper in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Under his leadership the advertising revenues grew year on year by the highest margins recorded in the history of Beeld. In 2004 Pieter moved to Cape Town where he became Advertising Manager and later General Manager for Die Burger, the largest daily newspaper in the southern part of South Africa.
Pieter also served as Chairperson of the Pendoring Advertising Awards, an annual competition awarding creative excellence in advertising. It is the second largest competition of this nature in South Africa. In 2009 he was appointed as Chairperson for the Greater Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and served as Vice-Chairperson for the Cape Town Chamber of Commerce in the same year.
Pieter is responsible for strategic planning, client and media liaison as well as executing media and communication strategy.
Peter Taylor (Companies Lawyer)

Peter’s practice encompasses construction law, company commercial, corporate and civil dispute resolution.
Peter experience includes 4 ½ years as an in-house solicitor in the construction industry and 3 years as a solicitor working in the Middle East. Starting his career as a civil litigator Peter quickly moved in to construction law and by his early 30s was a partner in what was then one of the most respected construction law practices in London. Subsequently Peter set up Ellis Taylor initially as a niche City practice prior to expanding into other practice areas for his varied commercial clients.

Peter’s clients have included international contractors, government agencies, a trust hospital, a world renowned football club, architects, surveyors, project management companies, oil companies, and a range of international and national companies including professionals and companies in IT, software and various supply and trading companies.
Pieter’s clients not only come from the UK and Europe but also the Gulf, the Far East and Japan.

Shortly after obtaining an Honours Degree in Journalism Cum Laude, Johan de Meyer kick started his journalism career at Beeld newspaper in Johannesburg. After only a year at the publication he was appointed head of the Northern Office – a position he held for three years.
After his career at Beeld, Johan worked at various non-profit organisations where he was in charge of publications and newsletters, did editing, and published articles in various magazines. Currently Johan combines freelance journalism with work in the Cape communities, where his focus specifically falls on helping young people achieve their goals in life.
Johan recently also received his MPhil Degree in Applied Theology.

Ilené Slabber (Key Account Manager)
Ilené completed her MPhil degree in Translation Studies in 2004 and then started her career as language practitioner at one of South Africa’s largest medical scheme administrators, where she worked as a proof reader, copywriter and translator. In 2005 she joined the creative team at a Cape Town based advertising company responsible for one of the country’s leading chain store group’s national radio advertisements, whilst also pursuing a career as freelance editor and proof reader for a few national publishing houses.
Ilené has been part of the team since 2010 and is mainly responsible for client/media liaison, the organising and sending of press releases, as well as the writing and editing of the latter.

Annette van Wyk (Key Account Manager)
For almost 25 years Annette was employed by one of the four biggest banking groups, where she worked in a marketing and sales environment. Here she gained knowledge within the financial sector and soon realised where her passion lays – sales and people relations. And, judging by the amount of awards based on her sales and services rendered, the latter is without any doubt true. During this time Annette was also on occasion appointed Top Internal Sales Consultant in the Region. She also holds a BankSeta Certificate in Relationship Management.
At LCPR, Annette is responsible for sales and marketing, as well as client relations. She forms the link between the team and existing clients and sees to it that all communication channels are always open.

Caromien Bruwer (Marketing Manager)
Caromien completed her BA Honours Degree after which she started working as a corporate public relations and events manager. She then opened her own company of which she was a senior facilitator and assessor in Business Management and Industrial Psychology.
Since 2009 Caromien is the marketing manager for an international wholesale travel agency and is also actively involved as marketing manager for LCPR.

In 2005, Abutu joined the National Assembly. Until June 2007 he was Special Assistant to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Dr. Ibrahim Mantu CFR on Special Duties and Youth. During this time he handled both students and youth development activities, including NGOs.
Apart from his academic achievements, Abutu also received various awards, including a Scout Centenary Merit Award for outstanding performance in Youth Development Work, as well as an International Award as Millenniums Development Ambassador Teachers without Borders in 2008. The Ambassador has organised, amongst others, the Yearly United Visionary Youth of Nigeria National Youth Conference. He is also the founder of youth organisations and associations like the United Visionary Youth of Nigeria, the Middle Belt Youth Organisation, the Africa Youth Council, as well as the Association of Voluntary Youth of Nigeria.
